Relax

Understanding what makes you tick, what gets you up in the morning and what you currently do to relax enables us to prioritise what will enable you to be able to relax.

Being stressed is a surefire route to being ineffective. We're either relaxed and focused or stressed and distracted. When we are cool calm and collected our best decisions are most effective. The more we are able to employ effective relaxation techniques and strategies the more calmly we will be able to approach a task which will drive up how dynamically we are operating.

Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen.
— Leonardo da Vinci

Effective relaxation will enable you to be more productive in your day to day life. You will be able to optimally recharge your batteries. When combined with a healthy lifestyle, the right nutrition and physical activity you will be able to attain new levels of success.

Relaxation is not just about sitting in a lotus position and meditating (although that may work for some people!). It could be taking a walk in the fresh air, watching a good movie, going to the gym or reading a book. The possibilities are endless.

There is no one size fits all approach. We are all individual and it has to work for you.
