Mindset 176 - Lesson 7 - No Regrets.png

Lesson 7 -

People regret the things they didn’t do more than things they did.

Would you rather live with regrets or grow from your experiences? For me, growth beats regret hands down!

There are far more people that regret the things they didn’t do, that might, could and should have been, than there are people that took the chance (even if things did not turn out the way they hoped).

If you think you’re going to regret not doing something, you should probably do it. Regret is the worst, as Mark Twain so eloquently put it, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Follow you dreams, act now, don’t wait until it is too late. Don’t let your dreams go unfulfilled as life slips through your fingers as if it were water. Catch every single drop, cherish the moments, live every day as if it were your last.

So, lesson 7/39 is that people regret the things they didn’t do more than things they did. We regret that we didn't reach our full potential, that we did not become the person we feel we could have... if we only had tried.
