Lesson 6 -
If you want RESULTS commit to achieving them, if you’re okay with EXCUSES you can remain only interested.
The choice is YOURS!
Kenneth Blanchard said: “When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.”
To achieve your dreams, surpass your goals and be a success, being interested isn’t enough. You have to put the effort in, to show up when the going gets tough.
If you aren’t willing to commit on daily, you’re quite likely to be wasting your time. Commit to making daily progress and good things will happen.
We can all find excuses, but your success isn’t interested in excuses, it’s interested in the actions you take to propel you toward achieving your goals.
When you’re committed, you’ll be relentless in the pursuit of the goal. You’ll commit to being “all in” even if you don’t know how to achieve your goal. The obstacles you face along the way will become the opportunities for you to learn and grow.
When you’re only interested, you’ll readily change direction, shift priorities and allow your emotions to drive your actions, preferring to be comfortable and safe rather than taking the actions necessary for your success.
