Lesson 39 -
Remember the guy that gave up? Neither does anyone else.
The final lesson.
Lessons can be found in all walks of life; it’s down to us to implement them. Some may be hard, painful, even terrifying, but they all have one thing in common; we can grow from them.
My final lesson is one I put on my computer screen during a challenging time in my life, it gives me the courage to persevere whenever I need it.
My final lesson: “Remember the guy that gave up? Neither does anyone else”
Whenever you find yourself doubting if you can go on, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won and all the fears you have overcome. Then raise your head high and forge on ahead, knowing that YOU GOT THIS!
Our failure’s – when used appropriately – breed success. Each and every mistake leads us one step closer to achieving our goals. So, it makes no sense to give up when times get tough…that’d be like quitting a race (even though you’re winning) just because you start to get winded, your shoelace comes undone, and someone yells “you suck!” from the side-line.
Keep going. Keep pushing. Never, ever, ever quit. Allow your failures to facilitate your success and don’t look back. Ever.
Thank you for joining me in sharing my 39 lessons as I turn 39.
