Lesson 30 -
if we wait until we are ready, we will be waiting the rest of our lives.
Waiting until you’re ready for something (leaving home, getting married, new jobs) could mean missing out on opportunities that won’t return. But when is the right time? Start to soon and you could fail, wait until you are ready, and you may never start.
We can all plan things, yet it’s often starting that’s the biggest challenge; doubts flood our mind and prevent us ever taking the first step.
Without starting we won’t accomplish anything. But to do so, we must find the courage, because if we don’t, we will never get anywhere.
Many of life’s journeys are long paths that require a little push at the beginning, so what’s holding you back? Do you need information? Where could you get it? Are you inexperienced? Where could you gain it?
Eventually, you’re going to run out of reasons and excuses. Eventually, you have to find the courage to take the first step. How you do that will depend on what motivates you. One thing is for sure, if you don’t get started, it will never get done. And if you wait until you are ready, you’ll be waiting for the rest of your life.
Today’s lesson is, if we wait until we are ready, we will be waiting the rest of our lives. So don’t wait, at least not too long. Life is short don’t waste it.
